Get your swerve on, feel good

Get your swerve on is a slightly different kind of guided meditation. It is fast paced and includes anchoring (An NLP concept).

It works on a basic principle that your brain has the ability to create all of the positive neurological and physical chemical reactions by absorbing itself in a moment generated from memory. In short, if you allow yourself to imagine yourself being in that positive moment in your life, you brain (as incredible as it is) does not know that you are not really there experiencing all of the wonderful experiences again.

Positive NLP anchoring.

Positive anchors are part of the way we store information. Our memories generally are more than just a picture, a smell or a sound. They tend to encompass all of our senses and then, most importantly for anchoring, they allow us to access how we felt in that moment as well.

Obviously this works both ways, negative experiences can be triggered by negative anchors and result in us feeling anxious or defeated before we have even begun. Mental Core Training uses guided meditation and exercises to enable you to both harness you past positive experiences and control the impact of the experiences that we know we would like to improve.

Mental Core Training also uses the future as an anchor, by getting you to experience what it will be like when you achieve that goal or aspiration. This is a very powerful technique, utilised a lot in elite sports, and uses a similar neurological path instead this time it makes the future so attractive and real that it enables the conscious and subconscious to work together to achieve it.
